Magnolia Bakery

In 1996, Magnolia Bakery opened its first location on a quiet street corner in the heart of New York City’s West Village. From its inception, Magnolia Bakery has been cherished for its classic American baked goods, vintage decor and warm, inviting atmosphere.

In 2007, Magnolia Bakery’s original owner passed her oven mitts to Steve and Tyra Abrams. Together, the Abrams’ have thoughtfully expanded the bakery from its first West Village shop to locations worldwide. Today, Magnolia Bakery can be found in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Honolulu, Mexico City, Seoul, Tokyo, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Beirut, Kuwait City and Doha.

Magnolia is often credited with helping to start the 1990s “cupcake craze”. With more than 6 billion impressions a year in the media, the bakery was featured on numerous TV shows like Sex and the CitySpin City and Conan O’Brien; in magazines, newspapers and feature films including Prime and The Devil Wears Prada… to name just a few.

Moxie recently signed on to help the Magnolia Bakery brand extend into new categories of merchandise and branded lifestyle collaborations. With the help of the Magnolia team, Moxie is defining how this hip, cradle to grade lifestyle brand can evolve into unique and delicious categories of product.
